Beth Day,  B.A.

Wetland Biologist
 

Beth has two years of experience as a wetland biologist.  She has studied non-native invertebrate species such as the purple varnish clam (Nuttalia obscurata) and researched the effects of long term exposure to sub-lethal levels of contaminated sediments on the energy budgets of the grass shrimp Palaemonetes pugio. 

Beth received her B.A. in Environmental Science and Education from Hampshire College, Amherst, MA in 2003 and completed the University of Washington Extension Wetland Science and Management Certificate program in 2007.

At Raedeke Associates, Inc., Beth provides technical assistance to both wetland and wildlife projects.  She assists in wetland mitigation and monitoring projects, wetland reconnaissance and ratings, wetland delineations, and wildlife habitat studies.
